Promote Local Aviation

Community outreach is important to the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, including participating in educational events with Girl Scouts, youth groups, and schools.  We also have a portable trade-show booth that we take to airport community days, open houses, and other aviation-related events.

Specific events that support our communities and general aviation include:

• Pennies-a-Pound (Held each May or September at various local airports)
• Chester County Balloon Festival
• Fly it Forward (held in March and hosted by Women in Aviation Inc.)
• Lancaster Airport Community Days
• Mid-Atlantic Air Museum World War II Weekend
• Pottstown Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (PAOP) annual pancake breakfast in September
• Summerfest 2020 at New Garden Flying Field
• Wings and Wheels (held in September at Wings Field in Blue Bell PA)
