Besides promoting the advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support, members of The Ninety-Nines are known for their commitment to each other, and in developing and nurturing friendships that will last a lifetime. One of the ways that our chapter encourages this relationship-building is through our Lunch with the Bunch gatherings every 4th Friday of the month, a tradition for over twenty years. Rotating among different airport restaurants in the Delaware Valley, the Lunch with the Bunch event is a great way to foster casual interaction among members that may or may not have an aviation theme. In the past year, our luncheons have been held at the Fiorentino's at Lancaster (KLNS), T. Burk restaurant at Smoketown Airport (S37), Butter Valley Golf Port (7N8), Verna's Flight Line at Millville, NJ (KMIV) and Klingers at Reading Airport (RDG). Chapter members are encouraged to either fly in or drive in, depending upon weather. Mary Wunder is the current organizer and is the contact in case of inclement weather that might necessitate a location change.
